Supply and Manufacture

Our Industrial division AFI for Industries specialize in the supply, manufacture and repair of all components of the hydraulic system, while also providing IT solutions.

In main partnership with Hyva and MH Hydraulics, AFI Industrial is a distributor of a wide range of mechanical vehicle components. In the 10 years since our inception, we have developed a diverse portfolio of all equipment. We manufacture a supply line of seals and gaskets today which includes rubber and plastic fluid power hydraulic and pneumatic seals, wiper seals, o-rings, rod and piston seals, and bearings. Spiral wound, metal and non-metal gaskets are also available. In addition to our extensive range of stocked moulded products we offer custom designed sealing solutions incorporating extensive engineering support, CAD/CAM software, and an experienced team of technicians.

The Hyva products we host include: telescopic front cylinders for trucks and trailers for tipping applications; a wide range of under body three way cylinders; fixed mounted and rolling truck cranes; container lifting systems such as hook loaders and skip loaders; mobile and static compactors and other garbage collecting units.

AFI Industrial is at the pinnacle of fluid power technology, manufacturing — to any size and in a few minutes — a wide range of rod/gland, piston, and static seals, as well as support and bearing components. We use a wide range of materials which include Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Polyurethane, nitrile rubbers (NBR) and Fluoro-elastomers and fit them in technically challenging applications.

With its Netherlands based supply and production partner MH Hydraulics; AFI Industrial is the supplier and repair centre of choice to many leading European brands. These include Bosch Rexroth, Brueninghaus, Commercial, Danfoss, Denison, Eaton, Filtration, Hydro-Gigant, Hagglunds, Haldex Barnes, Hydromatik, Kawasaki, Liebherr, Linde, Rexroth, Sauer, Staffa, Uchida, Vickers, AMCA and Yuken. In Sudan, we are also the supply and repair partner of many of the major industrial and automotive organisations.

Repair Center

The jewel on the crown of our Industrial sector is our hydraulic repair facility. For repairs and maintenance of pumps and motors, AFI is proud to be one of the Certified Repair Centres of MH Hydraulics. As we are part of this fast growing MH international network, professional hydraulic repair and maintenance can be offered.

AFI offers a unique service, not only in Sudan but also in the North African region. We are proud to administer the only industrial chrome-plating facility in the country and the one with the largest capacity in North Africa. With our newly installed hard chrome-plating facility of over 6 m depth and 50 cm diameter, we can overhaul your hydraulic cylinder rods of up to 12 m length, at a fraction of the costs of a complete new hydraulic cylinder. We take on complete hydraulic kit issues with pump overhauls and control unit repairs.

Information Technology

AFI Industrial is also a market leader in the Sudanese industrial IT solutions sector. In partnership with MOBOTIX, we supply security-vision-systems which cater for production line, employee, attendance and stock surveillance. The German company MOBOTIX AG is known as the leading pioneer and global market leader in network camera technology and its decentralised concept has made high-resolution video systems cost efficient.

In a large country like Sudan, our security-vision-systems provide a solution to the geographical headache of managing different sites in different areas of the country. Clients such as Zain Telecommunications Sudan and DAL Group, who manage retail and manufacturing sites across the country, are able to access the surveillance feeds for any and all locations on any network-connected computer. AFI was also the partner of choice for the modern, newly built Al Waha Mall in Khartoum; to whom we are the exclusive surveillance system provider.
